As Ebony tried not to fall off her perch while laughing wildly, I tore through the clothes in the closet, thrusting the ones I didn't like on my bed or in the middle of the floor.

From the thousands of clothes jammed in the small closet, only a loose, long sleeve cloak, a skivvy and long pants was left as well as my previous clothes: A torn hot pink top I never liked much and navy blue track pants.

I kept the good clothes in a neat pile and grabbed one of the leather crap heaps, throwing it on top, hiding my book underneath also before ruffling through the small mini fridge in one corner, next to a large TV and a computer desk, I noticed a small camera above the TV and quickly splashed the remains from the Chun-Nan water on it until it sparked.

I spun around with a strong sense of accomplishment, I did something, just a small thing, but something. And it made me feel good.

Ebony was looking at me strangely and I came to sit on my bed.

"Thank you." I whispered solemnly.

She cocked her head. "For what?"

"Just… being there, you never had to stay… hell, it's only been what? Four days, feels like forever but still… You knew me for three days and I already tried to kill you… yet you stay as if we have been friends for life."

Ebony fluttered to my shoulder and head butted my face, "I've known you long enough for you to be my friend in my opinion. I've never had a friend before, it's sort of thrilling."

"That's only because I'm the black sheep in the flock." I chuckled.

"Yeah, but the white sheep are too dull for me."

"I'm cursed though, next time I turn, maybe you won't survive." I cried angrily. Ebony shook her head slowly.

"What we have, this friendship. It's stronger than any curse."

That struck me speechless and I nodded, curling up in the layers of clothes with a yawn. Why anyone would use plastic as a bed was beyond me.

***

Wind, lightning and fire, they surrounded me like a blinding storm.

Someone laughed; an ice cold wind that pierced deep into my soul.

"Ah, An'ya. Your will is impressive. But how strong are you really?" The same person hissed.

Suddenly I was chained and broken, a thousand arrows piercing me, I could not feel myself screaming but I knew I was.

A thousand spirits haunting me, as the arrows pierced my soul and heart.

I woke up crying.

***

I started sobbing, my heart drenched with pain as the light pierced through the window, shadows deepened by my sorrow.

Ebony was immediately by my side, coaxing me with sisterly words, promising that she wouldn't leave.

"The pain…" I sobbed. "So many whispers!!!" I buried my head in my hands.

"I'm sick of this, of everything! Why me? Why was it me?!"

"Let's escape then, wait for night and rampage through the place, try not to go crazy wolf on me or Eggman and hitch a ride out of here, they're bound to have an escape pod for Eggman somewhere, simply take it first." Ebony suggested, I looked at her dumbfounded still sniffling.

"How long was I asleep?" I asked quietly, trying to stick vaguely on the subject.

"Around five hours, why?"

"It's still Midday if you ask me… the suns pretty bright… it's like we're flying towards it… and knowing Eggman, we probably are, night is never going to come."

Ebony swore softly. "Then… what are we going to do? Escape is our only option right now."

I wiped my nose. "You're right, that's why we need a back-up plan, which I have."

I jumped off my bed, running over to the computer and prying the tower open, why he gave me such an old fashioned computer is beyond my comprehension.

Digging my fingers through the wires I pulled out a thin pin that was lodge in the motherboard, stripping the wires of their plastic coating with Ebony's assistance: I tied the longest wire to the end of the pin and grabbed the leather covering my belongings, scrunching up the end and cutting it short with the sharp end of the computer tower door and sewing up the ends with my makeshift needle and thread, threading a strip of cloth from the other clothes through to make a string up rucksack.

After shoving my clothes and the less perishable foods from the mini fridge in there, I added what water there was in the water bottle left over from Chun-Nan, topped up from the small tank in the fridge with my book on top, I added the bag straps by tying the torn pieces of stronger cloth around it in two places before weaving and even stronger material through the two rings, creating an even bigger circle that could fit over my chest.

Ebony pulled out the sheets from under the mess of clothes as I looked for something hard and throwable. Finally my back pack was adjusted securely and the bulky twentieth century monitor ready to be thrown at my feet.

"Planning on jumping without this?" Ebony grinned, handing me the two most airtight sheets in the pile it wasn't hard, this place was full of too perfect things.

I took it gratefully. "Now: we have food, water, coats for Winter and clothes for Summer. And now we have a parachute. Hurray!" I mock cheered, jumping out of a plane with no idea how long before you splattered. What fun. At least I was smart enough to dress in my old clothes, just in case I got a little torn up in the landing, Ebony would kill me for that, the Chinese satin was a gift, probably stolen but a gift all the same.

"A knife would be helpful." Ebony shrugged.

"Already planned, hold that long strip of leather for me while I… ugh, this is heavy." I groaned, hefting the monitor to my shoulder.

Suddenly as I looked out the window to the fast moving sky I was overwhelmed with adrenaline, a pleasant change from the fear. I turned to Ebony: "Ready?" I asked with a maniacal grin on my face.

"As ready as I'll ever be, I'm still a bit worried though." Ebony replied, hopping over to the leather strap.

"Don't worry, you have wings!" I grinned, preparing the throw.

"It's not me I worry ab-"

"Too late!" I grinned, throwing the monitor as far as I could, the glass shattering instantly, spraying me with icy arrows. Immediately alarms were ringing and there was nothing but noise, I sorted through the mess of glass as best as I could as the wind sucked the clothes from my bed out into the unending drop.

The biggest shard was also the sharpest, I snatched it up and received the leather from Ebony, wrapping it around the less sharp end as a makeshift hilt before shoving it in my belt. I was just making sure it and everything else was secure as Eggman stormed in, face as red as a tomato.

"That's it! I'll lock you up in a da- What the hell are you doing?" He cried as I snatched the sheets from where they rested on the computer desk.

Turning to face him, I grinned wildly, backing up right to the window where the wind tugged at me dangerously, I clung the broken side, adrenaline pumping so hard that I didn't even notice the lacerations along my body.

I poked my tongue out and saluted as he ran forward, a new feat for Eggman. I didn't ponder it long; I was already falling back through the gaping hole.

Looking back at the ship, I saw it was speeding towards the sun, Eggman's plan for my nightly rampages; I had a strange sense of smugness at being right.

I saw Eggman clinging onto the side desperately as he yelled something; I was still grinning, happy for my freedom. The wind on my face was a pleasant change from the stale air of the ship.

I spun around and looked as the scene spread before me, eyes widening in shock. Forest, a large forest, beautiful huge tree's, a lake in its midst, and a large spanning ocean, but the most eye catching feature was the massive, fiery crack in the earth, which I was heading straight towards: created thanks to a laser created by the inflated Eggman and ego.

I fumbled with my makeshift parachute. Ebony screeching in my ear as it flew from my hands, flying far out of reach. The adrenaline faded and I felt every cut on my body, I felt every ounce of fear… and I screamed, falling closer to my doom.
WOOOOO! No italics!! You know, I hate that damn voice for a completely different reason (*cough* fkn italics *coughs*) But anyway, guess what? STILL UNEDITED! I pretty much just scan through the chapter and check to make sure it doesn't have any major errors (Its sorta funny how much crap is there.) But anyway, we're nearing the close of this series, I'm all a-shiver. Nxt chapter this becums a crossover, fair warning. But chapter 19 is its end.
Right this moment (not right this moment) I'm typing up chapter 23 (a lot more huh?) and its not quite done. I may have to leave the posting of 'Naruto' for a while until I'm done. I hate writing under pressure.

On a lighter note: I went through a traumatic experience (wait, thats not light?) Cuz I lost my gamer mojo (OH NOES!!!!!!!!!!!!) and became a n00b. (DOUBLE OH NOES!!!!) But I got it back by playing (ps: we were playing naruto ultimate ninja 3) as kimimaru (CRAP! I'm a fangirl!!!) instead of Sasuke (slowly using my fangirlness... *sob*) and... its surprisingly fun beating the crap out of people with ur own spine. Though i keep calling his second form 'my flower form' cuz its just so pretty!!!

Oh! My uber biggest fan is here. (She would not rest until she found my story.... literally... I uh.... lost it.... she cldn't find it either, and I needed it to get past chapter 17 {of part 1!!} so i tore my room to shreds.) Meet Emily everyone!!!
Emily: hiya every 1!!! Sonic Unleashed and all of :iconmizuki-anya:'s series are epic and awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, thats a good way of putting it.

Mizuki out.
